Short Session
Lunch and learns are powerful sessions packed with information averaging forty-five minutes in length. Rick enjoys interacting with the audience and he believes in creating a friendly atmosphere that is conducive to learning and building awareness amongst the participants. His goal is to create a desire and motivation within your team members to personally grow, thereby increasing organizational productivity and morale.
Rick’s keynote presentation is The Canoe: The Power of Influence. In this session he discusses the impact of finding his father on the kitchen floor after he died from a heart attack. Rick also discusses the powerful influence of two men on his life. Linking these events, he illustrates the importance of having a positive influence in the lives of others.

Masterminds
Multi-Session Mastermind using either Rick’s book The Furnace of Leadership Development or John Maxwell Team licensed content
In his book Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill described a mastermind as the “Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.”
Rick facilitates masterminds that are either five or eight weeks in length depending on the needs of the organization and uses his book The Furnace of Leadership Development and licensed content from the John Maxwell Team. Each session is ninety minutes long and addresses leadership, communication, and personal growth.
Rick creates a safe and friendly environment for the participants to discuss the topic at hand. The benefits of a mastermind include increased knowledge and confidence, the ability to learn from the experiences of others, the opportunity to brainstorm with the group, and gaining a sense of a shared endeavor.
